Holi

I know I am writing very late about Holi. I know it got over at 8th March and I am writing about it on 20th March. Now, I am not giving any excuses. I am just telling the reason why I didn't write the post long ago. First thing, I had exam stress. I had English Language exam right after Holi and I had to prepare for it. There was so much excitement the day before Holi and I had Hindi on 8th. So, I couldn't enjoy at all. Second thing, I forgot. I forgot that the blog is there not only for writing stories but also to put what I have experienced here and there. Third thing, all my friends wanted to see the blog that I was sitting and making it better by appearance. I forgot that the real beauty of the blog is its posts. Though lets forget all that and let me tell you all how I celebrated Holi.
This time, on Holi, there was a fairly less crowd than it is every year. Though, there were people to play with. This time we didn't play Girls vs Boys. It had become old. We played just like that, putting water on each other and colour. Coming close and blasting water balloons. They caught me everywhere!
We had two new friends who were playing their first Holi in the Apartment. So, we made a new rule. Whoever is new to the Apartment and it is his first Holi there, he will go into the tub. So we took Manogna and Pratima and put them in the tub. Then, one boy called Jeet proposed that everyone should go inside the tub and they are not going to leave anyone, how much ever they run away from them. Everyone went into the tub, but, I didn't want to go. I was running here and there, with these people chasing me. At last they caught me and even I gave up. I was dumped in the tub, made to sit down and everyone started putting colour all over my head and then water. I washed myself up in the tub and got out. That was really shocking. I persist so much that if people say that they are never going to give in, they give in. But, I think Jeet has a mind like mine and all the boys follow him.
We really had a lot of fun on Holi. I came down at twelve o' clock and went home at two. There was no place on our body which didn't have colour. When I put shampoo on my head to take out the colour, I had to be under the shower for five minutes continuous as there was so much colour on my head.  After some time, I had finished studying and was listening to songs through the earphone. When I took them out, there was colour at the sided of the earphones! That indicated that there was still colour in my ear and I immediately went and washed off all the other colour.
I have never experienced so much fun in Holi before. This was the very best Holi ever!

    1. Ya. This was the best holi I ever had. Every year its very boring. It could be because there were many people this time and we didnt think who is a girl and who is a boy.
