Meet Fletcher Moon. Half-pint schoolboy and fully qualified private investigator. Since graduating online, he has solved all sorts of minor mysteries at school and at home. It was only a matter of time before things got serious...
These are strange days in the town of Lock. There has been a spate of odd crimes, including the theft of something belonging to one April Devereux. Fletcher investigates -and the finger of suspicion is soon pointing firmly in the direction of the notorious Sharkey brothers, Herod and Red.
It looks like an open and shut case.
But nothing is quite as it seems. And, as Fletcher delves deeper, its not long before the hunter becomes the hunted...
As we can expect of Eion Colfer, this book is great for teens. Its all detective work and how Fletcher finds him wrapped up in a bigger mystery.
Again, we see expect something and something else happens. Only a person with very good brains can track what will happen next. I tried my best, but couldnt track it properly. It has a lot of ups and downs.
I dont know what to tell about this book. Its just amazing. All the detective work and gettifng hurt does pays off in the end for Fletcher.
Eion Colfer has really left me speechless about this book. You take the book and read it and you will come to know what I mean.

The Death Relic by Chris Kuzneski
Vanquished by the Spanish Empire, little remains of the Aztec and Mayan civilization. From the ashes of their cities, a unified legend emerges: the Christians who conquered them possessed a mysterious object, an artefact so powerful - so deadly - that it was known through out the Americas as 'the Death Relic.'
When Maria Pelati's research team disappears in Mexico, Jonathan Payne and David Jones embark on a perilous mission to find the missing archaeologists. The duo quickly finds a link between the group's work and its recent disappearance. Following the clues left behind, they try to solve one of the darkest mysterious of the New World, but their quest for the relic might cost them their lives.
This book is actually for adults. I took this book because I thought that I would get some knowledge about History, and get knowledge I did. I came to know so much about the Mayan civilization. I came to know that the Spanish were the first Europeans to step on American soil and capture the Mayan and Aztec civilization.
I think this is happening because I'm a kid, but I didn't understand some parts of the book.
There were many stories in the book and all of them were clubbed together to form one story. Ultimately, they have to find the treasure of the Mayan and Aztec civilization hidden somewhere in Mexico.
The storyline is cool. From archaeology to kidnapping. From Italy to Mexico. From finding to being played. From job to interest. Bloodshed, ruining, strategy. Everything is cool.
Being a book for adults, I enjoyed every page of the book. The plot keeps on changing and when the plot changes and Kuzneski tries to put the whole thing together, it comes out perfectly.
So, if Chris Kuzneski stumbles on my blog and happens to read this post, I would like to tell him that he has written this book beautifully.
But, every book has its bad points also. I have seen that Kuzneski has dragged this book long to make it a fat novel.
People who hate bloodshed, beware. This book has a lot of bloodshed.
People who hate it if they are proved wrong, beware. This book can prove you wrong many times.
Its like something is happening and we think that "Ok. This is gonna happen next." and suddenly everything changes and we come to know that what we thought will not happen but this will happen.
For example, When Maria had gone to meet her boss, Hamilton and he told her that he will come back, we think that he is going to reveal the work of Maria in this project and suddenly in the new chapter Maria calls her friends Payne and Jones, telling them that her boss disappears without telling her role in the project.
This book is totally different from the adventure and suspense we get to read. It has a totally different aspect.
If you get this book, let me warn you that after reading this book, you will think of no other book, but this and you will like no other work but Chris Kuzneski's.
You can take my example. I am trying to read Voyager, but thoughts from the other book keep coming back.
If you get this book, enjoy this book to the fullest. And I have doubt that you guys are going to enjoy it!

Heroes Of Olympus - The Son Of Neptune by Rick Riordon
The sequel to the book The Lost Hero is the Son Of Neptune.
Percy Jackson, son of Posiedon, God of the Sea, has woken from a very deep sleep and come face to face with two snake haired ladies who refuse to die. But their the least of his problems. Because Percy finds himself at a camp for half-bloods, which doesnt ring any bells for him. There's just one name he remembers from his past. Annabeth. Only one thing is certain - Percy's questing days aren't over. He and fellow demigods Frank and Hazel must face the most important quest of all: the Prophecy of Seven. If they fail, its not just their camp at risk. Percy's old life, the Gods and the entire world might be destroyed.
As I told for the first book, the book's just great. I would not say as great as the first book, but good. There are a lot of expected things happening. For instance, Percy will drink the gorgon's blood sooner or later. Phineas will die. Percy will not drown.
But there were a few unexpected things too. No examples here. I will be giving away the best part of the book.
Like the last book was about Jason, this book was about Percy, a completely different storyline, except in the end. Both the camps meet up. That's it. But the way, Mr.Riordon has mixed up Myth and Mordern and told us what Mother Gaia does, will leave the readers in shock.
I just love the way Mr. Riordon has every chapter to the Protagonists of the book. Every incident, he goes into the minds of the different characters and tell us what they felt like.
The plot's not too great. Many things are expected and I like things totally unexpected.
As on why should you read this book, is a completely different theory. This book is totally different from the other books. It can also give knowledge on Greek and Roman Mythology (if you want any) and for the fun of it. The way you get to laugh on some of the parts is just superb. The combination of the seriousness, though humour has been put together very elegantly. All in all, reading this book is just great. Your mood gets lightened, you feel carefree anbd you want to finish it as fast as possible. In other words, its a page turner.
There's a sequel to this book called The Mark of Athena, which is not released yet. But, I promise you guys that the review for that book also will be on this blog sooner or later.

Fourth Location
We had our last and final show here. This place is the resting place of the VISITS OF THEATRE SEASONS. This place is called Shishu Mandir School and College. We did our plays here and we did something called Phorum Theatre. In this the actors do a story and stop in the middle. One person from the audience can replace any of the actors and act their behalf on what they think is right. I didnt do this type of theatre. The group did it. But it was a lot of fun. There was a lot of humour and the fight the audience who acted put up was great. Fact, that they didnt act well, but the way they talked was amazing, talking their views out. We had a small celebration after that and came home. Next, God take me to the big stage (for two or more hours!!!)

Third Location
The third location was... I didnt exactly get the name of the place. It was in Indiranagar, very, very close to our theatre class. There was a camp there for children who are mentally and physically challenged. I think the YT group had performed there laast year, but this was my first time there. Again, the audience was very enthusiastic and they saw the plays very intently. When I was shooting on the handycam, I zoomed in and saw every child looking in the direction of the stage. The suggestions they gave were also so many and so realistic. The other locations had a similar complete the story. Here, it was totally different. In the other locations, I made my friends realize that whatever they were doing to me, was wrong. Here, they realized and took me to school and helped with my work and stuff. It was cool. After a long time I got to do something different. The children there were very enthusiastic, and I mean very enthusiastic and very energetic. I had a fun time there. It was just awesome! I hope I can go there again. They had a lot of talent. Their setbacks didnt stop them from dreaming. I wish and hope that every mentally and physically challenged kid in the world would achieve his/her dream.

Heroes Of Olympus - The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan
We all know who Rick Riordan is. He is the writer of the famous series, Percy Jackson. Now, Rick Riordan has come up with a sequel to those series. The Heroes Of Olympus.
The book is exciting. In fact, its a page turner. You never come to know that you have finished this much pages of the book. Every page surprises me. Now, something is happening and the next page suddenly something else happens. I am always surprised by Rick Riordan and the characters in his books.
There is the great prophecy for Seven. (The prophecy is told in the last book of the Percy Jackson series.) Percy goes for missing for two to three months. The Gods have also gone silent. Annabeth, Percy's girlfriend, is searching for him. In the meantime, three new demigods (kids of Gods and mortals) come to Camp Half - Blood. They are Piper, Leo and Jason. Jason has lost his memory and gets some visions of his memory in his dreams. Eventually, he comes to know that Hera has wiped his memory.
Piper has her own problems. A monster called Enceladus has kidnapped his father.
Leo's Mom had died when he was very young.
After coming to camp, Leo came to be the son of Hephasteus, the God of fire and Machinery. During the dinner time, Piper is claimed by Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love and Jason by Zeus.
Leo is in the forest during dinner time. He finds a dragon made of bronze and cleans it. He names it Festus and during the night time he modifies him.
These three are chosen for a prophecy to find Hera and save her. But, they cant use land as Gaia, the mother earth, will do anything to stop them. Leo adds wings to Festus ands they fly on him to Quebec to find the God of the North Wind.
There they met Khoine, the Goddess of Ice. She wanted to make them statues of ice, but her father, Boreos, wouldn't allow that. From there they went to Detroit where they had to face three cyclopes. Piper and Jason were captured and Leo saved them.
After that they went to Chicago where they met Chicago, defeated her and took the cages containing Coach Gleeson Hedge, their protector, and the storm spirits. From there they fly to King Midas' place where they crash land and Festus breaks. King Midas is the person who could change anything he touched into gold. He turned Piper and Leo to gold. Jason tricked him and he turned his son into gold. Midas got trapped under a chandelier. Jason sent some lighting into the sky. The roof broke and rain poured inside. All the statues turned back into human, including Leo. Piper had to be dipped into the river outside to be got back.
Escaping from there, they took shelter in a cave for the night, where Lycaon came with a pack of werewolves. The Hunters of Artemis drive them away. Thalia stays back as she is Jason's sister. They talk a bit and Thalia takes them to Aelous' palace, the palace of the wind God. Thalia has to go after Lycaon and promises that she will meet them at the Wolf House. At Aelous' palace, they are nearly killed by the wind God, because someone orders him to kill them.
In her dreames, Piper's Mom, Aphrodite, talks to her and they go to San Francisco. At Mt. Diablo, they fight Enceladus and free Piper's Dad. Piper sees her Dad go home in his plane, accompanied by Coach Hedge.
At the Wolf House, they see Porphyron rising. They also see that Khione is the one who orders Zeus to close down Olympus. She also orders Aelous to send them to their death. After being risen, Jason keeps him busy till Piper and Leo free Hera.
Hera takes her Godly form and kills everyone, but not Porphyron. She post pones Gaia's plane to overthrow Olympus. She knows that Gaia will rise and the Gods will have to unite with the demigods to defeat their army.
Jason gets back his memory and tells Chiron, Annabeth, Leo and Piper that he is from Camp Jupiter, the Roman Camp for demigods. Hera was talking about a gamble and the gamble was he and Percy Jackson. He was sent to Camp Half - Blood as a representative and to understand their camp. That meant that Percy Jackson was in Camp Jupiter without his memory.
Camp Jupiter and Camp Half - Blood always had this rivalry. So, they had to be very careful not to fight with each other. They needed demigods from both the camps to fight Gaia's army and that is when they will succeed. For now, they had delayed Gaia's plans but by no means had they stopped her.
This book is great and people of all ages can read it. It has a sequel called The Son of Neptune which I am still reading. If you get this book, please read it because you will never find anything better than this book (at least I have not found anything better, not till now, though!)

Second Location
The second location was a government school called M.E.C Public School in Yelahanka. There was a camp held there for children from a backward society. We all performed there mixing Kannada, Hindi and English. Though, the children there didn't perform anything, they were very imaginative and enthusiastic. They saw the play intently without any sound. It was great being there.
One boy suggested that Preksha should get married to get a mobile for her play! They were the best audience till now. They were the best.
There was a scientist there who had a science script. I think he was a theatre enthusiast. He gave a big lecture on what could we do to promote science. I got bored because he was just boasting about his self. Let me tell you nothing useful. Though the show went well and that was the greatest part.

My First Performance with Yours Truly
I go to Theatre Class. This is my second year there and I think my efforts are paying off. The Theatre Group who teach us is called Yours Truly Theatre Group. This group does a theatre called Complete The Story. In this we will be given a story which is incomplete and acted out by the actors and we are supposed to complete it.
I have performed at Alma (the place where our theatre class is) twice or thrice with my batchmates. But, this time its totally different.
Yours Truly also takes workshops for adults. This time there are six children joining the adult group, which includes me. All the six kids are: Aryan, Advika, Adyant, Ila, Preksha and me.
There are four different plays. I will not go telling the story about each play, but my play.
In my play, there are six people, in name Abhishekh, Bandeep, Ila, Vivek and me. Im the protagonist.
There is a basketball match between two teams, Naphsters and Victorious Riders. The Naphsters score two baskets and the Victorious Riders, one. During the second basket, the ball hits the captain of the Victorious Riders (that's me!). I am taken to a hospital where the doctor checks a patient's mouth and comes to the conclusion that he needs to have a kidney transplant. I come to know that my jaw is broken and the doctor seals up my mouth. For three months I'm useless. My friends come and tease me and my parents dont understand my pain nor my feelings.
I had performed this play at a sociey called Desire Society on Banerghatta Road (Its a place in Bangalore.) The Desire Society raises and educates those children whose parents are HIV+. The children there were very talented and imaginative. Though being from a backward society, their dreams of studying and becoming something didnt get dampened.
This was our first location. Our next location takes us to Yelahanka, which falls in Rural Bangalore.
I would love it if you guys could complete the story.

The H-Bomb Girl by Stephen Baxter
The H-Bomb Girl is based on the Cold War in the year 1962.
Laura, a fourteen a girl, has a key which can trigger a Nuclear War. She is advised that she has to use it when the worst of the worst of the came, though she didn't know what was this worst of the worst.
In her new school she has made some friends and they come to know everything about her. They are also lured in the same danger as she is. Her form teacher, Miss Wells, looks very much like her and a waitress in a cafe, she frequently goes with her friends, has the same diary as she has. There was a stranger in her house in the room they had rented in their house in Liverpool. His name was Mort. He acted very strangely. One day, Bern, Joel and she found a strange device in Miss Wells bag. They all thought it was a phone because of seeing that sign on one of the sides. They also saw a driving licence dated 2007.
At home, Laura saw a strange device hidden behind the books on the shelf. Laura thought it was a computer, but she wasnt sure. When an old man came to their home and he was looking just like Mort, her suspicions arose.
Agatha, who was the waitress in the cafe, would call her Mum, and Laura was confused. Why would a lady, forty years, or more, older to her, call her Mum? Eventually she came to know that Agatha, both the Morts and Miss Wells were from the future. She came to know that Agatha would be her daughter in the future if this Cold War happened.
Both, Agatha and Miss Wells, wanted the Key.
When she was taken to Miss Wells, she came to know that the wanted to rule the past, present and future and that is why they wanted the Key. Agatha's future was destroyed because of the Nuclear War and she wanted it to improve it. Laura decided that giving the Key to anyone of them was useless and she destroyed it. Mort was furious with this action and pointed a gun at Laura as his future was also destroyed, the Key was destroyed and old Mort was destroyed. At the right time, her Dad came to the rescue. They picked up a gun fight with each other and, seeing that they had no chance of winning this gunfight, all the people coming from the future went back there and one of Laura's friend, called Nick, also went there. Bern, who was pregnant, was sent to a church and was living there. Agatha was trapped there. She helped Bern escape with her baby out of the church because they were giving the baby for adoption.
Its a very good book, telling us that we should never fear anyone and do what is right even if we get killed. Its a cool and adventurous book, telling us what will happen if there was a nuclear war. Every person, above the age of twelve, who is interest in History and Nuclear Power will enjoy this book.
